What do you wear to a wedding?

A couple of weeks ago a friend of mine got married. Although we'd all expected it, Lou is the first in our group of girlies to tie the knot. And although they've been engaged for a while, it was strange feeling: I still don't feel grown up enough for any of us to be getting married! And of course I was faced with the age old question, what do you wear to a wedding?



While I love hats, I'm not that keen on wedding hats.. and I'm not really that into fascinators. They look great on other people but I can't see them on myself. In the end I opted for one of my favourite Zara dresses from last year, my fail-safe pair of nude heels, my tan mulberry clutch and a classic red lippy. Sometimes it's best to try to keep it simple.
