Queen Kate aka Mrs Jamie Hince

So me, A and her boy went for lunch today and wound up discussing the new Vogue cover over Greek food.

I love the colours, the photo is beautiful and the embroidered Miu Miu dress is gorgeous. That being said A did raise a valid point- somehow it just doesn't look like Kate. I can't put my finger on what it is, maybe it's a combination of the distinct lack of liquid liner and a little too much airbrushing? The 'meet Mrs Jamie Hince' was quite a cute tag though.

    I've always thought the key to Kate's success is her accessibility. I mean, she can look like anyone. Even Monroe! So, to me she looks like Kate because Kate is a changeable creature. I do like the demure look of this cover muchly. Although I'm much more interested in her husband (who makes up one half of one of my favourite bands) than I am in her :P

    Greek food? Jealous.

    I was actually thinking that it doesn't look like her - it doesn't have her steel or edge, and I think her eyebrows might be thinner (not to nitpick). I know what you mean!

    I made a dash to the shop to get this months, Kate Moss rarely gives interviews so I find her all the more fascinating!

    This is a beautiful cover! Although I do agree that it's not really Kate's distinct look but I think they wanted to keep it natural to match with the kimono outfit she was wearing! (:
