Everyone's posting about Christmas decorations and I've been feeling left out.. We chose a tree last weekend and we've finally started decorating but the house in general doesn't look Chrismassy enough yet! (Even though it's only 4 days til Christmas!) So while I wait, I've been getting a little inspiration from this Christmas tree which was in the late Vervia Todd's home during the clothing sale I posted about. What I love is that, like our tree, the decorations don't match. They're an eclectic muddle of little trinkets found here and there. I don't like trees to be all matchy, just as much as I dislike artificial trees. I like them to be a jumble of old and new finds, that have memories attached to them. Just like I like them to still be sticky with sap, and shed a couple needles here and there. It's worth it though for the whole house to be smelling like Christmas.
