Stylish Moments: Gentlemen Prefer Blondes

With the cold weather starting and the nights getting darker, all I can think about is getting wrapped up warm. Buttersoft leather gloves, vintage fur coats worn with rosy cheeks and soft ringlets. There's something about 50s glamour that makes it perfect for the wintery season, so I couldn't resist sharing another one of my favourite films: Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. After watching it again, I'm now convinced that I need to go in search of the perfect red lipstick, and I can't shake the urge to go get red oval-shaped acrylics..




In case you haven't seen it, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes, is the kind of frothy sex comedy that only the 50s could come up with: plenty of one liners but nothing too hard going, beautiful starlets, and oozing with style. I can't help but notice too how much those wedding dresses at the end remind me of Kate Middleton's wedding dress. You know what I mean?
