late notification...

Hello hello! Had a busy few weeks - been working full time and now have started work placements, currently at the Sunderland Echo learning about newspapers. Yesterday I found myself in court for a few hearings and today I've been going through the archives for papers from 1960 and 1985 for this little piece they have every day...today 25 years ago and today 50 years ago. Basically I've been going through the individual papers from 28th june 1960- 12th july 1960 and then the same for 1985 and picking out quirky stories for each day for the next two weeks worth of paper! the Echo also produces a luxury lifestyle magazine Etc which I may be helping out with- I'll keep you posted!

Any way...the late notification.....
So the pics of the sheer shoot have been up on the courier blog for a little while now.....I'm sorry for not informing you quicker but 10 days late is better than never. Now my petals I'm going to relax after a busy day in the office and treat myself to some quiet time watching Amelie and eating creme brulee....

penshaw monument shoots

So last night was spent up a hill and in the cold for the sake of our art.
You see we decided....well it was A's idea... to shoot the sheer for the courier blog up at Penshaw Monument. It was a good idea though...its such an odd monument though, random in design and location.
For those who aren't in the North East of England and have not got a clue what I'm on about....PENSHAW MONUMENT

And yes it was cold, cold, cold. I felt sorry for the poor models but it was a good laugh and the pics were looking good!
Now they just need a little editing and they should be up on the courier blog very very soon :) It would be great if we could get more feedback and ideas though from fellow bloggers? The concept behind it is basically capturing main trends and translating them into something very wearable without breaking the bank.


Here's a little preview of one of the looks we tried out...this one was sexy sheer with a geek chic twist..



The body is revealing but still wearable...and despite not allowing you to wear a bra we were all in agreement that it is very flattering in that department! You can find it online here
